An original acrylic on a 12 inch square gallery wrapped canvas, painted red on the sides, signed on the back, and can be hung from any of its four sides.
They say artists are a little big crazy. Well maybe we are. This has been floating around in my head for some time. I used liquid paint and controled how it dripped down the canvas. My purpose for this painting was to say, " painting is the fiber of my being".
Carol has been a professional artist for over fifty years, mastering calligraphy, watercolors and now acrylics. She studied at the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, Ohio, and took many private classes but considers herself to be a self taught artist. Using lots of detail, bright and bold colors and sometimes a touch of humor, has won her many awards. She continues to win awards today. She has been published and has a painting in the Postal Museum of the Smithsonian. Carol is a realist so she paints what she sees in her particular style. She loves nature and enjoys painting flowers, landscapes and some abstracts. She applies a lot of layering in her paintings no matter the subject matter.
