This just won 9th Place with Light, Space & Time's All Women Art Competition, April 2014. This painting has won 6 awards.
This is an night blooming cactus flower done in acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas. The center of the flower has heavy texture done with thick dots of paint.

Thank you Margaret! I love how it came out. I entered it in a competition but it didn't make it. I think all the entries were very disappointing in design. I love this painting and I plan to enter it in more competitions this year. You can't see the Texture in the stemens...but it is awesome!
